Final Version is a place to review drafts with other people. Your drafts are yours. We keep only what the product needs, and we don't sell it or use it to train AI.

What we keep

• Your email address, from Google sign-in. We ask Google for your email and nothing else: not your name, photo, or contacts.
• Your handle, the name people use to share drafts with you.
• Your drafts: every version, edit, comment, and note, and who sent each one to whom. This is the history you see in the product.
• Beta sign-ups: if you join the beta on this site, the email address and note you send us, and which of our pages or links you signed up from.

Who can see your drafts

• Only the people on that draft: the person who started it and the people it has been shared with.
• While someone is working on a draft, their unfinished edits stay private until they finish.
• During the beta, people in the beta can see each other's email address and handle, so they can share drafts with each other.
• We don't read your drafts. If you ask us for help with one, we'll look at what you point us to.

ChatGPT and Claude

There is no AI inside Final Version. If you connect your own ChatGPT or Claude, it can read and send the drafts you can see, only when you ask it to. What happens to that text inside ChatGPT or Claude is covered by OpenAI's or Anthropic's terms for your account. You can disconnect anytime from your ChatGPT or Claude settings.

Where it's stored

Everything is stored with Cloudflare, which runs the service for us. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS.

Cookies and tracking

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking cookies. This site loads its font from Google Fonts. We use your IP address only to slow down repeated sign-up attempts, and we don't store it.

Your choices

• Export: download all your data anytime from the Me page.
• Delete: email us and we'll delete your account and the drafts only you are on. Drafts you shared stay with the other people on them, unless you ask us to remove your part. Deleted data can stay in backups for up to 30 days.
• Leave the beta list: email us and we'll remove your sign-up.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and tell people in the beta.
